Working Principle

The suspension enters the high-speed rotating non-perforated drum. Under centrifugal force, solid particles settle on the drum wall while the clarified liquid exits through an overflow pipe. After separation, the machine stops, and the solids are manually discharged from the top, completing the cycle.

SSC sedimentation centrifuge is a three-legged intermittent sedimentation equipment. The material is added to the non-porous drum from the top, and no filter cloth is required. Under the action of the centrifugal field, the heavier solid phase is deposited on the drum wall to form a sediment layer, and the light phase forms an inner liquid ring. The clarified inner liquid phase can overflow from the drum over the liquid blocking plate, or can be led out of the drum during operation with a skimming pipe. The solid phase is manually discharged from the top of the drum after shutdown.

It is suitable for separating suspensions containing fine solid particles, high viscosity, low concentration, difficult to regenerate the filter medium, and the specific gravity of the solid phase is greater than that of the liquid phase.

The centrifuge brake device can adopt three braking methods: holding brake, expansion brake, and inverter brake. The foundation is divided into two methods, with foundation and without pouring foundation (equipped with shock absorber).
